Last August a short thirty second animation was released as a parody of a common situation that takes place in Starcraft 2.  Little did the creator of the animation, Jonathan “Carbot” Burton, know that what he created was going to have a permanent effect on the Starcraft community and beyond.  You don’t even need to know anything about Starcarft to appreciate the humor in these episodes, just check out episode one below.

Carbot has found a unique way to make certain situations in Starcraft 2 both humorous and universal.

Let’s look at the above episode for example.  Simple, cute and a 100% accurate depiction of early game Protoss v Terran.

Anyone who watches SC2 has seen that scene play out hundreds of times and yet it’s been translated in a way that anyone, whether hardcore fan or noob alike, can appreciate.  Almost every episode depicts a common engagement or game-play element that’s familiar to fans but acts as a great introduction for those who’ve never watched Starcraft 2 as an eSport.  The show has gotten so popular that Blizzard has reached out multiple times to collaborate with Carbot on projects for the Heart of the Swarm release and the most recent Spawning system.

New episodes debut on Saturdays every one to two weeks.  I highly recommend you check out his youtube channel and start catching up, you may just find you like Starcraft 2 more then you thought you did.  The most recent episode from Season 2 is below.
