  1. Crim says:

On goblins; yah, I feel like Blizzard is unintentionally diluting the goblin pool. Both the Odious and Gilded goblins get less awesome the more you play. Adding Souls and Breaths to Odious would make it much better – I often wonder why that has’t been added yet. Gilded would be fine if the Vault didn’t exist, but it does, so Gilded feels straight-up terrible.

lol @ the sighs and hesitation leading to the Morticks discussion

I main HC barbs each season. I don’t care that the item was removed, I care that IK and WotW testing was done with Morticks equipped, so all balance adjustments were done with that in mind. However, I still expect WotW+IK to perform extremely well in HC due to the PermaWrath and 40% damage reduction bonuses. And it has decent STD, which Raekors notoriously lacks.

Yay Blizzcon. I’m not going to travel to the States for the event, but I always buy the virtual ticket. I always look forward to the awesome in-game cosmetics that come with ticket purchases.

On Cheat Death passives, I kinda wish they all had a passive element to them, even if it is small. They could make it so that the passive element is active only when the cheat death isn’t active. So you can’t make use of both the cheat death and the passive element at the same time. This would reward players who stay alive for long periods of time, rather than having a dead passive slotted in.

Question for Wyatt: We have portraits for Paragon levels. What about Portraits for personal achievements? Ways to show skill rather than just time spent. Say, every 10 Grift ranks in Solo unlocks a special portrait. This would be a very low-devtime-cost way of celebrating personal achievement.

Speaking of personal achievement, remember the skull base hardcore mode banner unlock? Why not follow through on the old banner system? http://diablo.incgamers.com/blog/comments/hardcore-banners-no-different-than-soft-core

Anyways, awesome podcast guys. I recently got into listening / watching them every time now. Have fun in S3, and may your deaths be at monsters’ hands and not dc.
